John Schneider's Dream Comes True
![]()
John Schneider, formerly of Smallville, has kept busy since his departure from the show. He's been working on a script since his Dukes of Hazzard days, and the result is his directorial debut, Collier & Co. For the whole story, check out the article here!

I remember when I was 13 yrs old and that was the first time I met him. It was the very best day of my life. I was in Des Moines,IA for the state Fair and he helped me out of The General Lee after my picture was taken. He is the best for an actor along with a singer.I sure hope he will make an apperance here in Orlando,Fl some time very soon.
Sincerly,
Karin

I really do miss Jonathan Kent and Im super freaked at how Martha can even think about moving on from Jonathan so quickly Shoot! if I was married to a man like that I would never get over it.I think they need to bring back Jonathan and forget Lana!! EWW

i know we all miss John... i love him he was the be actor on there besides Tom. he was a very good father and i wish that they would make Clark have more dreams of him. they shouldnt of let him go back to Jur-el. if they let him go back they should have said that there was no other way. i know Lana is a good person but trading hers for John... that is just to much. that was just a very bad deal.

I honestly almost stopped watching the show because of that. I mean I know comic'verse wise it happens but hey they have taken plenty of liberties on this show already.
I love John anything he does I will be right there for

I will forever despise the producers for having Clark save Lana and allowing his father die. He knew someone else very close to him would have to die, yet he did it anyway. Dumbest writing ever.

Off course the fans miss you John Schnieder.
I never got the logic behind Jonathan Kent's death. He was such a wonderful and beautifully written character.
Jonathan should die for Clark to become a man?? How absurd! On the contrary, Jonathan was always the pillar of support and encouragement for Clark. He would never stand in his way!!
I loved his campaign arc so much. I would have loved to see him become a Senator and work for Smallville. That would've given him and Martha a storyline of their own.
What is more painful is that Clark hasn't still become the hero he should've become if his father's death was to act as a catalyst. He still is not taking charge of the situations and thinking for himself!
Fallout has given us some hope though! Let's see where this goes.
Meanwhile, wishing you all the success in future John Schnieder. Smallville fans will never forget you.
Can Al Miles please bring him back atleast behind the camera to direct an episode? 'Talisman' is one of my all time favorite episodes, directed by JS.

what the hell? why did he have to die for lana's life? i wish she could've stayed dead, Jonathan is a good guy and his stupid son needs him now. But w/e i'll continue to watch "Smallville".

Jonathan's death was not required in Smallville because it didn't create the impact on Clark as needed. It was all just to create some drama because in Fallout they made Clark accept his destiny after Raya's death which negates Jonathan's death.
After Jonathan's death the Kent family dynamic is lost on the show and we don't have much scenes with Clark and Martha on screen. JK you are sorely missed.
But I am happy for JS and wish him good luck for his career.

Pa Kent! You are sorely missed in the show and with your fans!!! Do you know how much guidance your boy needs!
WE MISS YOU MR SCHNEIDER!!
His death was the saddest episode ever. Damn.

Don't we though. It was a bad move to have Jonathan die; if the producers were not the clueless people they clearly are, Jonathan would have lived to a ripe old age as he does in the current comics. Clark will always need both his parents for support and guidance.
As for trading Jonathan's life for Lana's? Boy, was that ever a bad deal.
