Rumorville: What's Next for Veronica Mars Cast?
We’ve got a couple of conflicting rumors from two TV gossip mavens. Make of them what you will.
First up, TV Guide’s Michael Ausiello says series creator Rob Thomas is pondering a Veronica Mars movie. Poing!
"I'm not entirely sure how/when VM would've ended, but I wouldn't discount my taking a stab at a feature script. But I'm not sure if I could sell a movie based on a little-watched TV series."
Um, Rob? You could. You really, really could. Trust us on this – you’ve got plenty of people who would pay money to see what happened to Veronica, Logan, Keith and the rest of the Neptune crowd.
The other rumor comes from E!Online’s Kristin, who reports that Thomas is shooting a new project (on spec) at his house with Enrico Colantoni (Keith) and Paula Marshall playing spouses. “As far as I know, Colantoni is not playing anything Mars-related, so it appears Thomas may be moving on,” Kristin reports.
While we’ll take any excuse to watch Enrico on television, we have to admit, we prefer Ausiello’s rumor more. Viva La Mars!

i love the Tv series VM one of my favorite i might say i was disappointed to know that it was cancelled the story lines are not complete still some loose ends maybe it would be a good idea to just have one more finale just to tie up the loose ends

I'm so mad and SAD!!!! Why can't they keep Veronica Mars on for another season. Logan and Veronica need to be together. What about Keith, he needs to be Sherriff.

Eeeeeeek! I loved Logan's bad side at the end of season 3. Bad but also good since he did it for Veronica. I love a guy who can protect me like that. <333 Anyways. It would be awesome if there's another season. But it doesnt have to be full. Just enough so that it can resolve some stuff on the show. Especially Veronica and Logan's relationship. <33
The thing that suckked about season 3 is that it took place in college. College was boring.. I mean the students, especially Logan, have already done things in high school that were meant for college. For example, going to parties drinking, and having sex. And they had all that drama.
RT went off at bad start which partly why the ratings went down. Plus, most shows that go on into college tanked.

LOGAN! VERONICA! Their relationship storyline isn't complete. THEY still need to get together. I was waiting for a twist on the season finale, silently hoping that Logan and Veronica will somehow make up. And Veronica would dump Piz. And on the next season Logan and Veronica rekindle their relationsip. I am so angryyy. >:/

Please don't cancel Vm's I love this show and if you cancel it i think i will never watch CW ever again...........If people don't watch it they don't know what they are missing out on..........PLease don't cancel it cause i really want to know if VM goes back to Logan everybody know she is why is she torchering Piz for....VM is just having fun with Piz and i think Piz knows it but likes VM to much to dump her........So in the next season i am looking forward that VM dumps Piz I mean he is sweet and every girl's dream guy but come on VM and Logan love each other and even if VM goes for the job i know LOgan is going to go after her and VM needs to realize that whats the point of going with another guy when she knows Logan is going to beat him up........So i ask again please don't ever cancel Veronica Mar's.

I can take my "problems with VM" and shove them where the sun doesn't shine, eh? I'm overwhelmed by the maturity and grace. You didn't even grasp what I was saying. Like it or not, Veronica suffered this season creatively. It was excellent television during its first season. It wasn't this season. Like it or not, Rob Thomas knew cancellation was a very likely scenario and he chose to script an open ended season finale with Veronica and Logan ending on the outs. It *is* his fault. He was the showrunner this season. He was in charge of story. He knew the ratings. He knew that his episode order had been reduced from 22 to 20--that is a clear sign that a show is in danger of cancellation. Any executive producer knows that. The Everwood producers (Everwood which had higher ratings and demos than VM) didn't "know for sure" either, but they shot and filmed two ending just in case. Rob Thomas chose to be petulant and "make it difficult for them to cancel us." I read his quote in TV Guide, kids. It was his decision. He was not blindsided by the cancellation news. It is his fault and no amount of insults you hurl at me will change that. There isn't enough interest for a feature film. We could have had a satisfying ending, but Rob Thomas chose not to give us one. It's his fault and I hold him responsible. Don't make me search for his quote. I can find it. It was discussed at length at TWOP.

a vm movie would be amazing! the only shows i watch on the cw are veronica mars, one tree hill, and supernatural, and one tree hill isnt on till mid-season, so, hmm, yeah the CW's gonna have a LOT less viewers! YAY FOR THEM! maybe they'll change their minds, god the Cw sucks! okay, who agrees that the wb11 should be brought back, because whoever had control over that, was w genious, so what really happened? like, did someone on the wb11 get fired, or did they think it was time for a change? idk, but if you have the answer, my e-mail adress is delonge127@yahoo.com. thanks!
and i love piz, HOT, and sweet!

id like to respond to takestani...neil and jennifer are right....and the show was really good so why dont u just take u and ur personal problems with VM and shovem where no body would care to even mention and friggn lighten up...ur too vain to notice that alot of people want closure and that logan isnt a wimp, he starts bad gets soft goes bad again..and so on and thats like life, people dont stay bitter and bad all their lives, they hit soft spots too. so thats an A+ to Rob for capturing something like that to draw people to the charicters that we all have come to know and truely love

about a VM movie.
i believe that worst movies have been financed, so why not a tv series that was voted not to be cancelled by a really good deal of people (who by the way would be really really interested in closure) and would at least see it even if it is only a tv movie it doesn t have to be that big, we'll live, but we'll want to see it too.

i'd like to respond to takestani. he didnt choose to script an unsatisfying conclusion... the network didnt tell him the show was being cancelled so he scripted a season finale to leave room for a story line next year... so dont go blaming anyone for anything until you get your facts straight

I think you may need to relax a little bit here. You know throughout the course of a show if you keep the characters the exact same it gets old. Now as I recall Logan was a bad man for a while, went down the thougthful caring route and ended season three as a bad man again. Who else is upset about this besides you? I am sorry but I think Thomas did a good job with Logan and all of the other characters for that matter. Yoy may have some personal vendetta with Thomas but consider that he gave you this show in the first place.
Lighten up man, the world didn't end a tv show did. By the way it was a pretty damn good show for the most part so stop bashing it for the few shortcomings it actually had. Why not look at the positives of the show and remember it for that.

Michael Aussiello needs to LET IT GO. No one is going to finance a Veronica Mars feature film. The fan base is simply too small. He's living in a dream world and it's starting to annoy me. Veronica Mars sucked eggs this season. It was good during its first season, but it isn't worth all this whinging as if it's the last decent television program on Earth. It's really starting to make me bristle. It was nothing but teen angst for most of this season. If it's cancelled, it's Rob Thomas' fault. He chose to script an unsatisfying conclusion. He turned the character of Logan into a wimp. Blame him.
