Smallville's John Schneider Returns to the Tube This Sunday
John Schneider fans should be on the lookout this weekend. The former patriarch of the Kent clan will be playing a dad again, this time on the Hallmark Channel movie You've Got a Friend, airing at 9/8c this Sunday. He tells TVGuide.com's Megan Walsh-Boyle that he likes playing fathers and thinks it's important for actors to portray good male role models on television. Aww, that's sweet. For real.
What else is Mr. Schneider up to these days? Well, it turns out a whole lot! He's raising money for his next movie, Collier & Co. 2, and he mulling over a script with his ex-Dukes of Hazzard co-star, Tom Wopat, called Trailer Trash. Lol!
It's good to see our man keeping himself busy. We do miss him, but we'll definitely catch up with him this Sunday!

I absolutely love John Schneider, and wish I got the Hallmark channel. I'd love to see him guest star on Supernatural in season 3.
