Aliens in America: Rocket Club
We were loving last night’s Aliens in America – so many good lines! And it really nailed the humor, both with politics and high school.
How cute was Raja when he told his first lie? “I have never lied before, and I lost all sense of scale, and then I kept going and going in the vain hope that I would stumble upon that one lie that would make sense of all the others, but I never did.” Poor guy never had a chance. We loved the look of horror and panic growing on Justin’s face as Raja went on about an Everest of permission slips, uniforms, web sites… Hee!
We also loved Franny’s frantic attempt to make sure Justin wasn’t smoking pot – removing doorknobs, then doors; installing a nannycam and a baby monitor; asking whether the Canadian flag was actually a marijuana leaf. She wants to be a good mother, but she just goes overboard.

I love this show. It is smart, and insightful. I hope people watch it; it really is one of the best. Raja is naive, yet not. A kind soul.
