Reaper: Beware Satan Bearing Gifts
Sam went up against an Illustrated Man on Reaper, and Ben and Sock started tracking Gladys. All three faced perils beyond imagining, and two ended up somewhat scarred. Plus, we got a warning on how duplicitous the Devil could be – good stuff!
What did you think of Sam’s quarry this week? Curtis Dean Mays was an executed murderer who got out of hell and started knocking off the people who put him away using his tattoos. Sure, we’ve seen it before, but that doesn’t mean watching the guy pull fireballs off his neck or barbed wire off his arm didn’t give us a delicious thrill.
Perhaps even better, though, was Ben and Sock’s obsessive stalking of Gladys, the DMV demon. Who knew a demon could have such god-awful decorating taste? It looked like late-night QVC and all the figurine ads from the supermarket tabloids threw up all over her living room. Now that’s scary.
Scarier? Sock deciding he and Gladys had something in common, and deciding to stop by for coffee. This led to a passionate embrace – but it was just a dream. A dream Gladys planted in his head. Hee! Don’t mess with the DMV demons!
