Happy Birthday, Bethany Joy Galeotti!
Happy Birthday to Bethany Joy Galeotti! Bethany celebrates her 27th birthday today. She's really come a long way since she landed the role of Scout in “To Kill a Mockingbird” at the Irving Community Theater in Texas at the tender age of 10!
Bethany and Haley are both fan favorites. She recently won our much-discussed CW Source Hottie Bracket women's division bracket, and Haley's ups and downs are among OTH's most popular storylines. Haley's grown so much since OTH's first season…
She has gone from Tutor Girl to teacher Mom. Haley’s life really changed she started tutoring Nathan, and after one mac & cheese date it was clear that they were both deeply in love. Then Haley changed Nathan’s life (and let’s face it -- his outlook on life) when they sneaked off and got married in the episode “The Games That Play Us.”
But married life can be difficult -- especially when you get hitched in high school. Haley James Scott got a taste of the big time when she started giving in to her musical instincts. She and Nathan really struggled when she went out on tour with Chris Keller and company during season two, but love prevailed and Haley ended up leaving the tour and coming home to be with her husband.
When the couple found out that they were going to have a baby, naturally they went though more turmoil. Nathan was afraid that he couldn’t provide for a family, but Haley helped him see that together, they could do anything. And in the season four season finale, while giving the valedictorian speech to her graduating high school class, Haley went into labor with her son.
Four years later, during season five, we see an adult, confident Haley -- one who can even stand up to Dan. Haley was the first to spot the guy after he was paroled. The mother instinct kicked in hard and she was quick to protect her family and friends from the man who has done so much to hurt them.

It's hard to choose my favourite Haley moment... there are so many. Most of them are ofcourse Naley moments. There have been lots of favourites this 5th season. I have to say the one in 502 where you're shouting at Nathan is so amazing. Also in this last episode 512, you did such an amazing job! I can't wait to see more of you in season 5!

A bit on the late side, but hopefully Joy had an amazing birthday. She definitely deserves it. She's been my reason for watching OTH since day one, she's so extremely talented and beautiful.
Not that it's old by any means, but Joy comes off as younger than 27. Then again, who woulda thunk she was only 17 on Guiding Light.

I'd like to wish you a Happy belated Birthday. I hope it was everything you wished for, you seem like the kind of girl who likes to feel serene; kind of like you once mentioned in your journal that you wore the tiara your mother had sent you all day on your birthay. Well, I've hope you've received just as special a gift from your mother and all your loved ones, hee.
You do not look 27 at all, you still look so younger. But without a doubt, you have aged beatufiully since your first scene on the show, both as an individual and as an actress and a musician. I hope we will hear some news on your music soon, I think we all need a little Joy eye candy.

Happy Birthday, Joy. Hope your day was as magical as your life has been.
Favorite Haley moment..that is a very hard question. Joy has been amazing this season. In episode 10, she brought me to tears. Previous seasons...the beginning of the first season, her scenes with Lucas are truly amazing. I love that they've rekindled those scenes this season. And I really love any of her scenes with Brooke. The friendship between Tutor Girl/Wife/Mom and Tigger is very strong.

Thanks for that blurb on her. She's so amazingly talented as an actress and as a singer/songwriter. I hope she continues to pursue projects and endeavors that are fulfilling and inspiring.
My favorite Haley moment is hard to choose because there are so many. Her scene with Lucas in 1x18 remains one of my favorites to this day because Joy exuded such subtlty and wasn't afraid to really reach within herself portray her character as vulnerable. And because of that, she conveys such a genuine tone in that scene. That single performance really encompasses the wide range of emotions Joy is capable of conveying and she does it convincingly so.

Favorite Haley scene? Hmm, well in 510, and 512 this season her performances were phonomenal. She really is one of, if not the best actress out there. Also in 213, when she left Nathan for the tour, and in 301 in the scene with Nathan in his bedroom.
She is so versitile and can play each role perfectly. I love how she loves to play the subtlty, because thats where it matters most. You are a amazing musician singer/song writer and I hope many good things come to you in your future! I love you Joy and have a wonderful birthday<3

Best Haley moments - too many!
I will however say this; these past 3 epis have been amazing to watch not because I want Haley suffering the pain she has been through but simply from the performance you have given. I've been waiting for a complete Haley-rips-my-heart-out-and-even-if-she-would've-committed-murdered-
I'd-be-defending-her-after-that-scene..scene
since I discovered your performance during the Danny and Michelle breakup(s) in GL. You cannot possible expect that I will turn off those scenes and not want you to break my heart again and broke my heart you did.
Oh and on a side note.
Thank you for your exceptionally beautiful music that moves me to pieces each and ever time. I'm hoping you're still planning on getting out a cd and if so will be able to get some new tunes out for us soon.

Haley/Joy scenes would be...:
Season 1: In I shall Believe when Lucas is in the hopsital, and Haley refuses to see him, then finally does! amazing scene!
Season 2: In Lifetime Piling uP... when the worlds were switched! i just love haley no matter what but that was a great one...
Season 3: this list could go on and on... from 315-316... those two were great!... to... Everyday is a Sunday Evening.. to much! all of it!
Season 4: In The Same Deep Water As You... loved her in that! and .... tooo many! but I loved her in The Championship Episode!.. it was great~! and in the one after it... when seh hears that heartbeat... had ME BAWLING MY EYES OUT!
Season 5: without a doubt! the talked about scene of the century! Getting Jamie to open his eyes in Running To Stand Still... and in Hundred when she was worried about Jamie! sooo good

We love you so much and seriously, one of the only things that calms me down when I'm feeling really bad is listening to your songs and voice!
As Haley's my favorite character, there isn't just one moment of hers I like. So I won't list anything... she's phenominal in every single episode and, IMO, the only actress on the show that I can cry with when the character breaks down! Keep up the great word and have the best birthday EVER!

Happy Birthday Bethany. I hope you have a wonderful 27th birthday and get everything you wished and hoped for because you deserve it. If it wasn't for you I wouldn't be watching OTH. You are Haley and you play her wonderfully. I love your songs as well. They are so deep and full of meaning. They are my favorite songs and they are sung so beautifully.
My favorite Haley James scene is in season 1 when Nathan says that he doesn't know if he wants to go back on the basketball team and Haley says that he's brave for wanting to rebuild his life. He tells her she could too if she wanted and then the camera goes to Haley and she looks up and the light is shining through the window so perfectly on her. It was just a wonderful scene. My favorite Haley James Scott scene is when she's reciting her second wedding vows and she says that Nathan makes her brave. <3

HAPPY BIRHTDAY BETHANY JOY GALEOTTI. I hope you have an absolutely amazing day, because you completely deserve it.
You are my favorite actress. Ever. My favorite singer/musician. Ever. And Haley is one of my favorite characters. Ever. I love who you are, and how you hold on so tightly to your beliefs, never losing sight of who you truly are. You've been an amazing star to look up to. You've have the fans, without having to sacrifice your beliefs. Classy.
Also your voice is so beautiful. I hope you continue to sing and share your music with your fans.
And I have too many favorite Haley scenes! You do it all to amazingly well. But, among them would have to be your quiet and soulful performance to Nathan at Karen's Cafe singing Elsehwhere during season one. And honestly your rendition was better than Sarah's, which is saying a lot since Sarah Mclachlan has such immense talent.
