Lily and Rufus, I think. Smooth and fairly non-dramatic in its execution.
Or Lisa and Dean... the last kiss was great.
Lucas and Peyton? No. Repeat, repeat, repeat.
Lois and Oliver... Smallville makes me laugh in the bad way. Doesn't matter whether something was good or not. Wouldn't work for me because the show sucks (to me).

I just want to say that I dont believe we should be going with saying things like this show or the other is gonna win. These sourcies are about scenes or situations which portray a response of some sort and/or the like. Im a avid Supernatural fan and I wont blindly simply vote SN if another show pulls off that source topic better. In this case I did vote for Supernatural as I believe that Dean & Lisa showed showed more emotion when talking about exactly what this poll is about... "reunion" at first WOW surprised, the "words" they speak with just the expression of their faces, then the hint of awkward yet delighted rememberance of the passion they shared... It was great!

For the last couple of years on Smallville, if the situation is Olie related I'll probably love it.
Lily and Rufus had me from that first second.
and lastly
I'm a Hard Core, loyal SPN who really liked Lisa.
As you see this was a tough one...
But my vote eventually went to Rufus and Lily.

I love Dean/Lisa and would love to see them hook up when the whole series is over, but my vote went to Rufus/Lily. They got a lot more development and I love them together.

Meg - I have to disagree with you regarding the Supernatural episode. Did you watch the whole episode? Dean may have said something about gumby girl in the beginning, but that's certainly not how the episode ended.
I loved Dean and Lisa, and I loved the ending scene between the two of them. Jensen played that wonderfully, great facial expressions to show the "what if"/"if only" thoughts.

maybe the sourcies should have more categories aside from love related topics (e.g., best hook up, best love triangle, best breakup scene, best lovers quarrel, and this one)
there should be a category like 'most heated argument'
1. gossip girl: 1x04 when blair yelled at serena for taking her modeling place.
2. supernatural: 3x14 when dean and sam were arguing over if it was really their father on the phone, or 3x16 when dean and sam were arguing if they should summon ruby for help.
3. smallville: siren; oliver and clark were yelling at each other for putting chloe in danger
4. one tree hill: (i'm sure there is something here, i just don't watch it enough to choose the best scene)
or maybe worst nightmare right? or most horrible death? or best fight scene (for the dramas) or maybe biggest thorn in the main characters' side. (e.g., georgina, nanny carrie, bela talbot)
just some ideas that i thought i should spread out there, because i think the sourcies could use a bit more variety than what has been shown. but i love the sourcies anyway, and thanks for putting them up. it is a nice way to pass the summer hiatus.

The kids are alright was a great episode and Dean and Lisa are a perfect best lovers reunion especially if you consider the scene from dream a little dream of me! Ben is a kid and most kids since I have 2 of my own are over the top, that's what makes them kids in the first place! Go Dean & Lisa!

Naturally I went with Dean and Lisa. I really liked there chemistry and interaction and I thought the Dean/Ben scenes were hilarious. The "oops! busted" look Dean gives when Lisa sees Ben knee the bully in the groin and comes roaring over still makes me crack up.

To Meg: To some people, a "lover" is anyone you've ever had sex with. It doesn't have to be someone you were in love with, or were in a relationship with. If you had sex with them, they are your lover. So, going by that, Dean/Lisa definately fits into this category.
And I gotta pick the SPN for the win here. That whole sequence of scenes is a hilarious delight. It's too bad you couldn't show the whole thing, because it was awesome, and I've rewatched it countless times.
I also liked the bonding moments between Dean and Ben, and Dean and Lisa.
