Sometimes romance on The CW goes swimmingly... and then, sometimes, it's so painful you have to look away from your TV. That's the case in today's Sourcies category: "Worst Response to 'I Love You.'" Let's just say we hope we're never on the receiving end of anything like this when we spill our feelings to our significant others. Our self-esteem might never recover!

OTH 4 life i mean lindsay and lucas are the worst couple ever but lucas and peyton rock. The worst response for i love u is from lucas. And i think brooke shud go out with bartender owen.

one tree hill. i like leyton but i'm mean and find it funny that the last time she told him she loved him he said "oh", and this time he responded like this. lmao i don't know why i find it so funny. and then going and proposing to someone else? talk about proving your point! rofl

I hate L/P, so this was a really easy decision to make. Worst response to ILYl, no contest - he kissed her, then PROPOSED to Lindsey :)

OTH need Brooke/Lucas together to make it as good as it used to be.

Lucas and Peyton have has two Worst Response To "I Love You" moments ... the one in the clip is alright but do you remember in the end of Season 3 when Peyton tells Lucas she loves him and he say "OH" that was pretty bad too - so my vote is for Lucas

Reaper was definitely my choice.
I don't know if it's cuz I love the show and the characters, but my heart absolutely BROKE for Sam in that moment.

Yeah I voted for Reaper, though I don't watch it... that "Im afraid of you" reponse was kind of sad and funny at the same time... Im sad it won't win though...... and I wont be getting into that "being fair" crap again since I poured my heart out in the last category's comment board! :P:P:P

I def think that oth hit me. i would hate to tell soemone that i love them and then have them kiss me and then run away to propose to somoene else. thats like a knife in the heart def!!!

Wow... Reaper looks kind of good. I might have to check it out.
I voted Reaper because I was happy with what Lucas did. Peyton and Lucas make me vomit.
The BEST response to ILY was in season 4 of OTH. Peyton tells Lucas she loves him and he says "oh" and that he doesn't love her that way! LMAO!

Eugh, this is so annoying. The top two are SPN and OTH.
I totally agree with SPN winning everything, but OTH is just so cringeworthy now.
Maybe this poll isn't the best example, but still.
EVEN GG IS BETTER THAN OTH!

I went with the OTH. To tell someone you love them and have them kiss you back AND THEN to find out that they proposed to someone else that very night!!! Knife to the heart!

Oh, wow. Those were all cringeworthy. But in all honestly, Andi and Sam's scene got the biggest cringe out of me.
I know it won't win, but it's the one I voted for. Wow.
