One Tree Hill: Everyone Always Leaves -- With the Exception of Victoria

What are the chances? It's like a One Tree Hill flashback from hell. Peyton is at that same dreaded Chestnut Street stoplight and gets T-boned by a black SUV. She is okay and so is the baby, but now she and Lucas are forced to tell their loved ones about the complications with the pregnancy. At this point we’re more depressed about the Comet -- and so is Peyton. However, it looks like Lucas will try to save the car. Maybe this is some kind of foreshadowing situation? That Lucas does like to fix things.

What we loved:
Jamie's teacher wants him to go to the Oppenheimer School for the nerds…er…Gifted. They don't play sports, they play a geeked-out version of math basketball. It looks painfully dull. Nathan wants to pass and Haley loves it so much that she can't get over the fact that it was once her dream school when she was a giant nerd. But when it comes right down to it, Jamie wants to stay at his old school. And he IS the gifted one. Besides, Jamie is totally playing matchmaker and trying to hook his teacher Lauren up with Skills. We did sense some chemistry between the two. Maybe this will get him over Deb.

What we didn’t love:
She's baaaaaack! Victoria returns to Tree Hill and no one is happy about it. The business is struggling and she needs Brooke back. Brooke tells her mother that she's on her own, but when Victoria appeals to her on behalf of all her old employees, Brooke caves. Will that girl ever learn?

Meanwhile, Jack Daniels finds himself really cool foster parents -- in Charlotte. He and Sam have to say good-bye for now, but not before they admit that they are boyfriend and girlfriend. Sam does her Sam thing -- broods and makes little towers with coffee-house freebies. First she loses Julian and now Jack. When Brooke isn't there to comfort her -- color us surprised -- Victoria is.

Mouth and Millie are all kissy face and happy in NYC. It's nice for them but kind of sickening for us. They decide they can make things work long-distance-like so Mouth returns to Tree Hill. But why? This storyline needs a boost to say the least.

We don't ever want to complain about getting a new episode our favorite show. But we don't think we know much more after the episode than we did from just watching the previews. Peyton's car accident: Check. Victoria returns: Check. We did like the Jamie and Sam storylines but expected more from the key players. What did you think about the episode? Tell us!

I'm glad they don't give Lucas more air time- he's crazy annoying and whiny. I actually think the best interactions on this show right now are with Brooke and Sam. At least the acting is semi good and the plotline is interesting. Oh and seriously, producers? No one would really care if Nathan quit basketball for good. Those scenes are so godawfully boring that it's painful.

Regarding the podcast, you asked if there were any basketball players who listen, and I am one of them. Regarding Nathan running into constant problems with teammates...I never played pro ball, obviously, but I can say that certain types of players/personalities can create tension in the locker room. They are both competing for NBA scouts, and if they think someone is in their way, they will do whatever it takes to get attention. Normally, teammates are a little more receptive than Mark likes to show, but if Nathan is one of those guys seen as...annoying, shall we say, then I understand some of it.
Speaking of basketball, I hope they don't phase it out completely at any point, it was one of the reasons I really got into the show.

All I have to say is this was a horrible episode......

Mouth and Millie staring into each others eyes from their laptops......enough said.

Humm this episode was horrible. Everything was horrible. I did love Victoria coming back. She was the only good thing about the episode. I loved when she told Sam "Would you rather have no mom or a bad mom who was there?" Yes Peyton loses 2 moms but Brooke bitching because her mom needs her? STFU is what I say and they should never EVER let Sophia cry. Jamie I just want to kill that kid. Why couldn't he be the one hit by a car? And oye the car accident was the worst thing ever. Hilarie I know you're leaving but sweety you and Chad are confusing me with the acting choices. Could Mark please stop showing me Mouth making out. That dude is fug and on top of that his personality is fug too.

I LOVE THIS SHOW BUT I HAVE HEARD RUMORS THAT IT IS GOING OFF THE AIR. CAN ANYONE TELL ME IF THE RUMORS ARE TRUE? I LOOK FORWARD TO WATCHING IN ON MONDAY NIGHTS. THANKS

I personally really enjoyed this episode.

But I can see where you are coming from with not much happening.

This was a classic OTH set up episode. Everything that's about to go down is now set up:
-Haley/Nathan are in a good place, somethings bound to come their way(would it kill the writers to leave them alone, or give them a happy story?!)
-Brooke/Victoria - This can't be going anywhere good. I can smell the drama from a mile away, along with the cheap designer perfume Vicwhoria probably wears.
-Lucas/Peyton - now that the cats out of the bag about her dangerous pregnancy, the whole group can be involved in the drama
-Brooke/CoverB - what will happen with that?
-Mouth/Millie - who cares?

It was a set up episode, they have to have one once in a while, otherwise we would all be scratching our heads confused as to what the hell just happened.

I really liked this episode, the call backs to old OTH with Naley("You were a C student" "I was a C+ student, and YOU were my tutor") Loved it! I also loved seeing Brooke and Peyton really interacting. Almost forgot they were best friends!

Here's my question though:
For many episodes now we have been following Dan and his quest for a heart, and after the last episode, I was expecting something to do with Dan in this episode, but he was nowhere in sight. Where's Dan?!

mm yeh..a bit blah, but u no, showed how naley r, how leyton is, connection btw brooke and peyton..(where the hell is the haley and lucas bff'ing??)...skill was awsome to have in the ep, jamie cute..yeh, nothin other than revealing peyton preg thing and movement for brooke in her story line...wat r they setting up 4 in the last 4 eps?!!!!

ominous.no?!! xoxo

Want MORE HALEY!!!!!

I think we learned some new things. Jack is going away (I had to laugh at the top that foster mom was wearing though, with the bare shoulders!) and Brooke is going to have to make some choices. I loved the scene when she asked Peyton why she didn't tell her (a crying Sophia is always moving). And Peyton says because she wanted her to go to California. I liked the scenes between Sam and Victoria A LOT. "Why does my daughter let you sponge off her?" "Well, because I stole from her, got her attacked, and she found me living in a car." That just sums up Brooke's big heart. And I think she belongs at Clothes Over Bros. It's great what she's been doing with Angie and Sam, but she's not getting anywhere drawing alone at night and designing wardrobe for a defunct movie. And I loved seeing Naley have a scene together, although I'm confused: if they want to move to Charlotte and potentially home-school Jamie, why are they shopping around for schools at all?

It's true about the episode. Not much happened. I'm glad Peyton is ok. I've been thinking the same thing about the foreshadowing for months now, especially with the Comet. I hope Lucas fixes it and I wish Nathan and Skills had gone to see Peyton. More Leyton scenes!
