One Tree Hill Podcast: "What Are You Willing To Lose"

Listen Now

After this week's episode of One Tree Hill, we're concerned: Has someone been dissolving stupid pills in Tree Hill's water supply? How else to explain why Brooke and Millie fell for Alex's transparent acting, why Nathan and Clay caved at the sight of an ultrasound, and why Julian's dad recognized the error of his ways after one pissy conversation? At least Dan's back -- and he's married to Rachel! Poing!

I actually really like Alex. She was funny. My jaw drops everytime she opens her mouth lol. And the end, where we find out she got that line from her movie, was hilarious to me. At least she is one of the few things making this season interesting. The others would be Dan being married to Rachel(!?!) and (just for this episode) Haley's LP impressions. Spot on. I actually enjoyed this episode, but i am still missing the point of why this season is actually being made. Maybe they'll hit a new stride soon.

Thank you to everyone believing Nathan should go to Haley,he did right.I don't understand how you girls could say otherwise, I really don't.It's unfathomable to suggest otherwise. Nathan hiding things from Haley was the basis of many issues previously. No way he should've kept her in the dark. Yes she may be upset, but it's a heck of alot better finding out from your husband what's going on then finding out from sleazy reporter or tabloid.

You guys haven't seen Rachel except in season 5. It kind of makes sense why her and Dan ended up together. I can't explain why because I don't want to spoil anything but you need to see season 3 to get it. Rachel is seeking redemption too you know. Or at least she has a lot of things in her past that she needs to be redeemed for. I can't tell if she truly has changed or if she is just with Dan for the fame/fortune right now. Dan and Rachel are connected though and you'd see that if you had seen seasons 3 and 4!

I actually really like this season so far. I'm a little bored with Brooke and Julian but I've been kinda bored with Brooke since season 5. She has her moments and I loveee her but I just don't care for her storylines.

And I'm still not missing Lucas at all. I wouldn't mind seeing Peyton again.

And I still love Nathan and Haley. Great storylines.

Also to the commentor who said they need to make it funny again.. This episode was funny! Haley was hilarious, Brooke had her moments, Jamie was too cute...

It was a great episode.

Your reactions to Quinn, Alex's dress, Brooke's easy duplicity, Skills needing to watch Jamie...all on the mark. I too hope this show can hang on.

I don't think Nathan acted stupit! In fact I think he finally learned his lesson to be open to haley after the Nanny thing! I believe he is still sure he didn't sleep with Renee but is aware about the scandal and he needs Haley by his side to fight it. Looking at his behaviour in the restaurant and in the car with Clay, Nathan seemed more concerned about th effects of this scandal on his family. Haley will still be upset cause he got really drunk, but in the end they will fight together. At least that's what I hope! keep podcasting and finish the annoying season 2 and get to the amazing season 3!

I've been listening to this podcast for a while, and I usually always agree with you guys, but I completely disagreed with you on the Nathan thing this time. I LOVE that Nathan told Haley right away what was happening, it's such an improvement over the Nanny Carrie stuff. You guys said it yourselves, he took waaay to long to say something to Haley, and this time he's manning up and letting her know what's going on. Even if that Renee chick's evidence is iffy, she could still go to the media. Imagine if Nathan kept Haley clueless, and then she gets blindsided by some reporter on the street. That'd be horrible. And we don't actually know how popular Nathan is at this point. It's one tree hill, he could easily be an NBA superstar :)

Also, the Charlotte Bobcats ARE an actual NBA team, they were founded in 2004 after the Hornets left Charlotte for New Orleans. Michael Jordan is part owner.

I think quinn's husband has already been cast according to imdb.

Scott Holroyd is going to be playing david.

I think you guys were right. In fact, as I was watching the episode, I was thinking the same things. How could Dan have married Rachel? I always thought that Dan and Victoria would hook up. They make more sense--good-looking couple looking for redemption. Besides that would make Brooke an official Scott. I liked the whole Lucas/Peyton mimic thing too. I hardly pay attention to Brooke and Julian anymore. It was better when Luke and Peyton were around--like the whole "them seeing their exes every day" and Julian's conflicted feelings about Lucas/Peyton/Brooke. I thought for sure that Brooke would see through the "Alex" thing. I thought she was more level-headed than that. Maybe her intelligence centers around Peyton. After all, she always came to her with her problems. Not that that was a bad thing because I actually liked that about them. I liked that Peyton took care of everyone but you would have thought that Brooke and even Nathan would have learned some things from her. I mean Peyton was the one who conned John Knight into that incredible deal for Red Bedroom Records. By the way, how come Peyton only got to keep 1% of her own business? Nathan was smart to tell Haley because the "Renee" thing is nothing. I think it would have been better--more believable-- if they had built a scandal around just Clay. I'm worried about this season too...it's going downhill. They need to make it funny again and bring back Lucas and/or Peyton, maybe Sawyer.

Wow... I actually completely loved this episode and it reminded me of the days when OTH caused so much excitement in my life. I'm surprised at your reaction.
